It's a true success story spanning more than 135 years, revolving around tradition, leather goods, and family business. The Braun Büffel company originated in Germany, in the small town of Kirn, not far from Frankfurt.
The workshop produces exquisite leather accessories such as wallets, cases, and bags. Elegant everyday companions like briefcases, writing portfolios, purses, and stylish key, pen, or card cases are sure to delight leather lovers. It's no wonder this family business has received several prestigious design awards.
BRAUN BUFFALO - A TRIBUTE TO LEATHER HISTORY
The company was founded in Kirn in 1887 and is still based there today. Founder Johann Braun worked as a saddler and upholsterer, thus establishing a passion for leather in the family history. After a few years, he opened his first shop, and the company grew steadily.
Not only today, but also in the future, professional master leatherworkers will craft fine leather goods " Made in Germany ." The preservation of the time-honored craftsmanship of leatherwork is of paramount importance to the company. As one of only a very few companies in Germany still doing so, we train young people to become leatherworkers at our company headquarters. This is a valuable contribution to ensuring that this beautiful and time-honored craft does not die out. We are proud of our leatherworkers in Kirn and their "Made in Germany" collections.
